James McMahon

James McMahon

Managing Director

With a career of nearly 30 years in the construction industry and gaining experience working with established Brickwork Subcontractors, Demolition Companies and Recruitment Companies, James has held senior positions in each as his career progressed. Establishing FOMAC Construction Limited in 1996, James is responsible for developing the Company into a strong, competitive and financially secure organisation. He was instrumental in achieving Achilles “Building Confidence” Accreditation and securing BSI ISO 9001: 2008 recognition for FOMAC’s Quality Management System. A Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals and holding ICIOB status of the Chartered Institute of Building gives James an in depth knowledge of both the Construction and Recruitment Industries.

Away from the office James has a keen interest in the sports of Taekwondo, Football and Scuba diving. James was a London Prepares Series and London Olympics 2012 Technical and Field of Play Games maker with the Taekwondo Team.

John Foley

Operations Director

John started his career at McInerney Homes where he completed his apprenticeship as a Carpenter and Joiner and joined FOMAC Construction in 1988.

John’s formative role at FOMAC, maintained through to this day, includes Business Development through working closely with clients across a variety of sectors and directing the planned and continued growth of FOMAC.

John’s drive and hands on approach enable him to seek and deliver to those new challenges that emanate from an ever changing industry.

Robert McCauley

Senior Contracts Manager

With over 40 years of industry experience, starting as an apprentice and qualifying as a Master Stone Mason and Monumental Sculptor, Robert has held almost every position in the construction industry, from tradesman to Foreman to Site Manager. Robert brings years of industry experience and insight to his role as Senior Contracts Manager at FOMAC Construction Limited. Robert has been instrumental in establishing and developing the now flourishing Technical and Managerial sector of the business.

Robbie is a strong believer in building stronger teams through better relationships. As happy liaising at the most senior management levels as he is with his labour force, he is often to be found bringing his unique brand of customer service and expertise directly to site. Robbie is a familiar sight in his Hard Hat and High Visibility Jacket on many of London’s building sites.

Joe Swift

Contracts Manager

Experienced and proven Engineering Recruitment professional with 4 years in the construction recruitment sector. Joe has been instrumental in developing the now flourishing Technical and Managerial sector of the business.

Joe has effectively worked with the largest names in the UK market providing skilled engineering and management staff to work on some of the most prestigious projects. Based from London he has a well-established network of clients and candidates.

Teresa has been working within the Construction industry almost exclusively since leaving Education & has been with Fomac since 1999. During this time, she has developed a very good understanding of the industry and is able to use her knowledge to assist clients at every stage of the process. She has gained extensive experience in Accounts whilst working at home & abroad and her qualifications are a combination of Academic & and in house training.

She is proficient in all aspects of Payroll and Management Accounts, as well as looking after our day to day Purchase & Sales Ledgers.

Away from the office, Teresa has a keen interest in Sport, Gardening, Music & Travel. It’s what keeps her sane in these very demanding times we live in.
