Working on behalf of a local authority based in North London, we are currently recruiting for an Information and Records Management Officer.

The contract for the Information and Records Management Officerr position is for 3 months, on a full time temporary basis. The umbrella rate of pay is £20 per hour.

Purpose of Job

Providing practical advice and guidance on Data Protection issues to schools.
Preparation of templates, guidance notes and the completion of information audits to ensure schools are complaint with GDPR and DPA 2018.
Helping schools with subject access requests as required. 
Requirements

Knowledge of GDPR and DPA 2018.
Experience and knowledge of schools systems and data.
Excellent MS Office skills
Excellent communication skills both face to face and on the telephone
Presentation skills and ability to chair meetings are desirable.
A background in business management for schools or data analyst in schools with an understanding of data protection and security issues for schools is desirable.
